Meet the Westfield Chiropractic Team

Community Health Network is excited to bring more integrative medicine services to the Westfield community. Which is why we’d like to introduce our full chiropractic team that’s joining us at the Community Westfield Medical Office Building.

Who Are the Chiropractors?

The Westfield team is made up of four expert chiropractors who have partnered with Community Health Network since 2004.

Dr. Matthew Bauer received his undergraduate degree in human biology from National College of Chiropractic, where he earned his license as a chiropractic physician. With a love for sports and a passion for supporting athletes, Dr. Bauer began his chiropractic work with professionals in the NFL, NBA and MLB. As the founder of his own therapy clinics, he’s been partnering with Community Health Network hospitals since 2004.

Dr. S. Michael Bell was born and raised in Westfield, Indiana. He received his bachelor's degree in kinesiology at University – Bloomington and his doctorate of chiropractic degree at Logan University. With a lifelong dream of helping others, Dr. Bell always knew he wanted to be in the healthcare field. He found his dream career path in chiropractic care with the help of a hometown mentor that helped him learn the intricacies of the specialty. Dr. Bell has been working alongside Community since 2017. He often works with the youngest Community patients: infants.

Dr. Manny Manolov graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in biology, pre-med option and obtained his doctorate degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Los Angeles. With experience treating U.S. Olympic Track & Field athletes, Dr. Manolov is excited to bring his decades of experience to the Community Health Network Westfield campus. Dr. Manolov often works with family medicine, treating pregnant patients and children.

Dr. Bryant Ponchot received his doctorate in chiropractic care from Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs in 2006.

What Is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care involves the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Through joint and spine manipulation, it can help ease pain throughout the body.

Many people think that chiropractic services are strictly about back and neck pain. Since it is actually orthopedic-based, the care can also involve any number of joints in the body — including, hips, shoulders, knees and more.

With a variety of different methods, chiropractors can help alleviate conditions such as:

  • Sciatica
  • Headaches/Migraines
  • Minor injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Joint pain and stiffness
  • Pregnancy and postpartum pain
  • Infant colic and bowel movements

What Services Does This Team Offer?

Like many specialties, chiropractic care encompasses many different services. The services offered at Community Westfield include:
