Procedure How It Works
Breast Biopsy Removes a small sample of breast tissue for testing and diagnosis.
Lumpectomy Removes abnormal or cancerous tissue while preserving as much healthy breast tissue as possible.
Mastectomy Removes all or part of the breast and may be recommended for certain breast conditions or breast cancer.
Lymph Node Removal Lymph nodes near tumors are removed and tested to determine if the cancer has spread.
Single-Port Robotic-Assisted Breast Surgery A minimally invasive option that uses one small incision for select breast cancer procedures such as nipple-sparing mastectomy or breast reconstruction.
Breast Reconstruction Rebuilds the shape of the breast after a mastectomy or other breast surgery. Reconstruction is performed by our plastic and reconstructive surgeons.

Single-Port Robotic-Assisted Breast Surgery

Dr. Joshua Manghelli, Community Health Network breast surgeon, with da Vinci Single Port System at Community Hospital North

Community Breast Care offers advanced single-port robotic-assisted surgery for select breast cancer procedures. This minimally invasive approach uses a single small incision and may be an option for some patients undergoing nipple-sparing mastectomy or breast reconstruction.

As one of the first programs in Indiana to offer this technology, we're passionate about providing innovative treatment options that support both cancer care and quality of life.

Single-port robotic surgery may be an option depending on your diagnosis. Your breast surgeon will guide you on the best approach to treatment.
