Make a Difference
The Ambulatory Medical Assistant or LPN works hand- in- hand with the Physician to achieve quality outcomes for the patient. The Ambulatory LPN or MA will assist the provider of a health care site with facilitation of patient visits and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and quality outcomes for the population of the practice. Helps cover back-office patient care and administrative responsibilities in the event of clinician illness, approved time-off, jury duty, funeral time, times of high census, other growth needs determined/identified by practice management team. This position is located in the Cardiac Clinic at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, 8075 N. Shadeland Ave. in Indianapolis, IN.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
LPN
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience. (Required)
- Previous experience in medical office or health care setting. (Preferred)
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
Medical Assistant
- High School Diploma or GED & Graduate or certificate of completion from a Medical Assisting program (Required)
- Medical Assistant Certification/Registration is required. Qualifying certifications/registrations: CMA (AAMA), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), and NRCMA (NAHP)
