Make a Difference
The Quality Improvement Nurse is a skilled professional nurse responsible for identifying, monitoring, evaluating, educating, and improving processes affecting the care of patients and which facilitate continued readiness and compliance with federal, state and Joint Commission regulations. This individual collaborates and participates in quality improvement processes as required and serves as a leader and change agent within Community Health Network. The Quality Improvement Nurse will conduct rounds on inpatient units as well as Medical Records audits within Community Heart and Vascular Hospital.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate of National League of Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) accredited school of nursing or three years of professional nursing experience. (Required)
- 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) (Required)
- Minimum of three (3) years clinical experience (Required)
- Cardiac experience (Preferred)
- EPIC experience (Preferred)
- Ability to use performance and process improvement (PPI), project management and change management methods to support operational and clinical quality initiatives, improve performance and achieve organizational goals.
