Post-Licensure Students (RN to BSN, Non-Provider MSN, DNP, PhD)
Community Health Network supports nurses who are working toward advanced degrees (RN to BSN, non-provider MSN, DNP or PhD) from affiliated schools. Educational opportunities for non-provider graduate students include clinical practicum experiences, non-clinical professional preceptorships or mentorships, and research. Find resources here for requesting these experiences at Community.
Placement Request
Request for Post-Licensure Placement (RN to BSN, non-provider MSN, DNP, or PhD)
If you are a post-licensure nursing student (seeking an RN to BSN, non-provider MSN, DNP, or PhD degree) we are happy to consider your request for placement if you are attending an affiliated school of nursing. Please review the Affiliated Schools list on the Nursing Education page. All students, whether a Community caregiver or not, must submit a request and be attending an accredited school of nursing with which Community Health Network has an affiliation.
Research Project Requirements
If you plan to complete any research or gather any data during your clinical education experience, in addition to submitting the request above, you must also submit an application to the Network Nursing Research Council. Please complete the application and project support forms below and submit them to the contact on the application. Work with your Community preceptor/mentor throughout this approval process. Students are not to conduct research or gather any data until approval has been received from the Network Nursing Research Council and, if deemed required by the Council, from the IRB.
