Center for Physician Well-Being and Professional Development
Live well. Lead well.
Community Health Network strives to provide an exceptional experience for all the lives we touch: our patients and their families, our employees and caregivers, and our physicians and providers. In order to provide the best patient experience, our physicians and providers must connect to the joy that brought them to the practice of medicine. We invest in our physicians throughout their career, supporting them as people, while developing and empowering them to improve care processes throughout our health network. Exceptional care, simply delivered occurs for our patients when we invest in those who provide them with that care.
The Center for Physician Well-Being and Professional Development has four primary goals:
To reduce and alleviate the stress of practicing medicine
To improve work/life balance
To bring joy to the practice of medicine
To develop, coach and mentor physicians at each stage of their career
Our center will offer a variety of means to achieve these goals. Because one size does not fit all, we offer well-being coaching and counseling resources, leadership development opportunities to enhance leadership skills and confidence, opportunities to connect with other physicians in small groups, career-fit options, and much more.
