Community Health Network recognizes the critical importance of supporting the well-being of our physician/APP partners. Well-being goes beyond absence of burnout but rather includes participation in activities achieving physical vitality, work life balance, professional fulfillment and accomplishment, and resiliency.

Our goal is to provide resources to support and promote physician/APP well-being, manage and prevent burnout, and connect physicians/APPs to the joy of practicing medicine. Healthcare organizations that promote and develop effective physician/APP leaders demonstrate significantly reduced levels of burnout as well as increased physician/APP engagement, which results in higher quality care, improved patient safety, at lower cost. We believe exceptional physician/APP experiences at Community create exceptional patient experiences.

Physician and APP Collegiality and Social Networking

Connection is at the heart of sustainable practice. The Center for Physician Well-Being and Professional Development is proud to support spaces where physicians and APPs can come together, recharge, and build community with colleagues who understand the unique demands of this work.

Our Well-Read Community Book Club has been bringing colleagues together for over seven years sharing great reads, honest conversation, and a little breathing room from the day-to-day. If you're interested in joining, we'd love to have you.
