Community Fairbanks Recovery Center provides evidence-based drug and alcohol addiction treatment, taking care of people when they need it the most. It offers a full continuum of care, including outpatient addiction medicine, family counseling, recovery housing and long-term recovery management.

So that we may continue to provide the best behavioral health, treatment and recovery programs, Community is seeking licensed therapists (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) non-licensed therapists, recovery specialists, life skills/youth specialists, social workers (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT), clinicians, nurse practitioners, patient care coordinators, food and environmental services partners, and more.

Student Loan Repayment Eligibility

Community's behavioral health sites in Kokomo, Frankfort and Anderson, Indiana have been approved as National Health Service Corps (NHSC) sites through 12/31/2024. Licensed behavioral health professionals working at these sites may be eligible to have their student loans repaid, while earning a competitive salary, in exchange for providing healthcare in communities with limited access to care.

Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health Behavioral Health Academy™

Community Health Network, one of largest and most comprehensive behavioral health systems in Indiana, developed the Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health Behavioral Health Academy™ in 2019.

The Behavioral Health Academy partners with universities and behavioral health provider organizations across the state of Indiana. The Behavioral Health Academy programming supports social work and mental health counseling students in learning evidence-based therapeutic practices to treat clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges. Students gain hands-on therapeutic experience that prepares them for a career in community mental health.
