What To Expect if You're Pregnant
The Community Health Network CHOICE program provides individualized care plans for expectant mothers. Care typically begins with a five-day inpatient detox in our maternity unit at Community Hospital East to help pregnant women safely stop using substances, followed by ongoing aftercare services at Community Hospital East, Community Hospital Anderson or Community Howard Regional Health. The CHOICE team will help provide OB/GYN care, therapy and on-staff peer recovery coaching to support mothers during and after their pregnancy.
Expectant mothers choosing recovery with CHOICE can count on a caring team of helpers every step of the way – from the moment they start care and for as long as they need it. Our team is focused on supporting women facing addiction and helping women learn to advocate for their recovery. They are dedicated to providing personalized, non-judgmental care that goes beyond just clinical needs.
How To Begin
Pregnant women can begin their care with CHOICE immediately by going to the maternity unit directly at Community Hospital East and requesting support with CHOICE. No insurance or referral needed.
The maternity unit is open 24/7 and pregnant women can walk in any time to begin their care with CHOICE – no need to call ahead.
