What is microsurgery?

Microsurgery is considered one of the most challenging plastic surgery specialties. Microsurgery is done under the magnification of a microscope, to allow the surgeon to more precisely perform plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures. During these procedures, tissue may be taken from other parts of the body to reconstruct a breast, or to perform plastic or reconstructive surgery on ears, noses, scalps, hands, fingers, tongues, toes and other small body parts.

How do I know if my procedure is cosmetic?

Cosmetic surgery, also known as aesthetic plastic surgery, is performed to change body shape or appearance. Typically, it is not associated with a current medical condition. The goal is to improve body appearance and enhance the patient’s body image and self-confidence. Examples include procedures such as breast augmentation or surgery to minimize scar visibility. They are considered elective and are often not covered by insurance.

If you have questions about whether your treatment is classified as cosmetic, please consult with your physician or call our office at 317-621-2200.

Do you offer financing?

Payment is due in full prior to your procedure. Patients have the option to finance their payments through Care Credit. The application must be completed by the patient prior to service.
