Make a Difference
The Patient Representative is responsible for acting as a liaison among patients, families and staff members to facilitate a smooth flow of communication. The Representative will be responsible for communicating with the various staff members in an effort to keep patients and families up to date regarding their visit
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position must demonstrate knowledge of the department and hospital layout. Communicate with staff and family members about unexpected waiting times. Communicates with all departments to maintain information of patient status once surgery has begun and provides updates as requested by families and visitors.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare field is preferred
