Neurologic Therapy Services

The Neuro Specialty Program offers outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Our team of neurologic therapists uses an interdisciplinary approach and evidence-based interventions to best help patients reach their therapy goals. We offer treatment of the following diagnoses (but not limited to):

  • Stroke or cerebral vascular accident
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Encephalitis
  • Brain tumors
  • Concussion
  • Dizziness
  • Diplopia (double vision)
  • Visual field cuts and low vision
  • Balance disorders and impairments
  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)
  • Dementia and Alzheimer's disease
  • Adults with cerebral palsy
  • Transverse myelitis
  • Guillain-BarrĂ© syndrome
  • Neuropathy
  • Voice disorders
  • Chronic cough
  • Swallowing difficulty (dysphagia)

Other Services

Wheelchair Evaluations

We coordinate with wheelchair vendors and provide wheelchair mobility assessments to best serve each patient's needs.

Independence and Healthy Aging Program

We coordinate with the Healthy Aging Transition Services (HATS) program and provide individuals with physical, occupational and speech therapy to combat cognitive decline and decrease risk of falls that can occur with aging.
