Hundreds enjoy 2022 NICU Reunion Drive-Thru Adventure at Community Hospital North

Indianapolis—Community Hospital North hosts an annual reunion for young patients who have graduated from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), their families and Community caregivers. The 8^th annual event which took place Saturday on the North campus, drew hundreds.

The drive-thru event invited families to stop by four special zoo-themed adventure stations. The NICU teams handed out goodies ranging from safari hats, zoo-themed lunch bags, and animal crackers. Some Community caregivers dressed up like zoo animals to greet the kids.

Families showed up to thank caregivers, from doctors and nurses to respiratory therapists, who care for babies in the Community Hospital North NICU.

Each year the NICU reunion gives these kids, their parents and grandparents a chance to reconnect with the teams that helped these children for days, weeks and, in some cases even months when they were in our care.
