Make a Difference
The Manager of Materials Management position is located at Hamilton Surgery Center. This position is responsible for managing the surgery materials point-of-use system. The Manager oversees site operations and process workflows, team growth, and team performance. This position works closely with the Director on the overall facility management plan and has full working knowledge of all department roles and responsibilities. The Manager represents supply chain distribution on the Network value analysis team and meets with clinical department leaders to assess supply needs.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should have a strong understanding of the entire logistical process for the supply chain. Applicants can manage projects and assignments from start to completion, create contingency plans, and handle multiple tasks competently.
- Four (4) years of distribution or supply chain experience is preferred.
- Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role is required.
- Experience in the sterilization process and high-level disinfectant preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management is preferred. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Fundamental understanding of surgery materials, processes, and preference cards is required.
- CRCST certification strongly preferred.

- Adapts to a variety of situations, change, and new learnings, and works well under pressure
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, is detail-oriented, organized, and builds effective relationships through collaboration
