Sunnie Youtsey, BSN, RN, BHCN

Breast Cancer Navigator, Community Hospital Anderson

Sunnie knew in nursing school that she had a passion for both women’s health and oncology. She started her career as a labor delivery nurse/peds nurse where she loved working with mothers and babies. In 2017, she joined Community Cancer Care Anderson as an infusion nurse in medical oncology and a radiation oncology nurse, as well as working in a GYN clinic for uninsured/underinsured women. When a position became available that combined women’s health and oncology, she jumped at the chance. She became a breast health navigator in May of 2019. She is a certified breast patient navigator through the National Consortium of Breast Centers.

Sunnie received her bachelor of science degree from Anderson University, where she was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, honor society for nursing.

Sunnie lives in Pendleton with her husband, two children, and their Goldendoodle.
