Kelly Wunder, RN

Genitourinary/GI/Colorectal Navigator, Community Cancer Center East

Kelly graduated from Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in 1989. She began her career in cardiology, working in a medical step down monitored unit, cardiac cath lab and cardiology office. She was later blessed to be able to stay at home and raise her three children. Upon returning to the nursing profession, she began working at Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical Care - North at Community. Caring for patients as they made their journey through breast cancer from diagnosis, through treatment and the reconstruction process was a rewarding nursing position! Kelly has also helped patients cope with acute and chronic spine pain, assisting anesthesiologists with injections and recovery. Kelly is now glad to be at Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center - East as a nurse navigator in GI/GU oncology. Her ultimate goal in this role is to care for these patients as if they were her family member.

Kelly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been married to her husband for more than 30 years and has three amazing children and a daughter-in-law. She loves spending time with her family cheering for IU, Purdue, UC and the Bengals!
