Integrative Women's Health

Menopause and the years leading up to it (perimenopause) bring profound changes to a woman’s life. Fluctuating hormone levels can trigger a wide array of symptoms such as hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood shifts and sexual health challenges. Many women often feel they’ve “lost themselves” somewhere in the transition. Our team can help guide you through changes and provide you with thoughtful, evidence-based care that can help you feel like you again.

Our Approach to Care

We specialize in an integrative, personalized approach to care that addresses both symptoms and root causes of menopause. While hormones are a main factor in menopause, we also know that lifestyle, stress, and relationships can all play a role in the symptoms you may experience. Our goal is to help you navigate all aspects of menopause with confidence, health, and vitality.

Our team won’t replace your primary care provider and you should continue to see them for routine care. Our goal as a member of your healthcare team is to provide female-led expertise and in-depth menopausal care that complements your overall well-being.

Menopause and Perimenopause Care

We offer a range of integrative treatments and therapies for menopause that are tailored to your body and your goals. Our areas of expertise include:

  • Symptom management: We can guide you with safe, proven approaches to help ease symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood swings and anxiety/depression.
  • Hormone therapy support: When appropriate, we offer hormone therapy tailored to your needs. We use the latest research to guide individualized protocols, closely monitor your response and adjust as needed.
  • Metabolic and bone health: Menopause can accelerate bone calcium loss and influence diabetes risk and weight. We can help monitor bone density, A1C and metabolic markers, and offer interventions (nutrition, lifestyle, medications) to support long-term health.
  • Sexual health and intimacy: Vaginal dryness, low libido and painful sex (dyspareunia) are common symptoms that can feel deeply personal and can have a big impact on quality of life. We can help address these concerns and their root causes openly and sensitively and provide effective solutions.

Gynecologic Care

Though our main focus is perimenopause and menopause care, we also offer select GYN services:

  • Evaluation and management of abnormal bleeding
  • Pap smears, pelvic exams and colposcopy
  • Birth control consultation and management

What To Expect

Every woman’s journey through perimenopause and menopause is unique. That’s why we take the time to understand your individual concerns and design a care plan that feels personal, supportive and effective. With our team, you will find:

  • A safe, nonjudgmental space to share your health story
  • A thorough evaluation with extra time for questions and discussion
  • An integrative care plan that could include hormone and non-hormone therapies, lifestyle support, and referrals as needed
  • Follow-up appointments to help adjust and refine your care over time

Please note that Dr. Tilmon is a referral-based specialist. If you’d like an appointment, you may request a referral from your primary care provider. If you are unable to see your provider for a referral, please call our office directly and we can assist you.
