President and CEO

Dr. Patrick McGill became president and CEO of Community Health Network in Indianapolis on January 1, 2026. He is a board-certified family medicine physician who previously served as Community’s executive vice president and chief transformation officer. Dr. McGill remains a practicing physician as he serves as president and CEO.

Dr. McGill earned his doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital. He also holds a master of business administration with a concentration in data analytics from the University of Southern Indiana and is pursuing a doctorate in healthcare administration.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. McGill has held various leadership roles at Community. He has led transformational initiatives in wide-ranging areas including population health, personalized medicine, clinical workflows, virtual care, digital and information technology strategy, analytics, health equity, and value-based care.

Dr. McGill is actively involved with several professional organizations and serves on multiple boards, including the Indiana Health Information Exchange and SIHO Insurance Services. His accomplishments include being recognized as an inspiring Chief Transformation Officer by Becker's Hospital Review in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
