Colleen started with the oncology navigation team in early 2017. She earned her MSW from Indiana University in the Advance Standing Masters of Social Work Program. Colleen has over 23 years of experience working with interdisciplinary teams in adult and pediatric oncology, biochemical genetics, and hospice.
As a 30-year cancer survivor, Colleen is honored to be a part of the Survivorship Program at Community. She values the opportunity to connect with those who have faced cancer while serving as a guide and resource. She believes that from our challenges we often find our greatest gifts.
Colleen is married to her husband of 25 years, Alan. They are very proud of their two daughters, Caroline and Allison. Their household is lively with their dog, Arnold, and cats, Darlin' and Scarlette. She loves time with family and friends, cheering on her favorite basketball teams, live music and traveling.
