Raquel has been with Community since 2000. She joined the navigation team in 2014 and provides services for patients at Community MD Anderson Cancer Center - East. Her nursing background includes work in cardiovascular surgery, surgery center and inpatient oncology.
She was nominated for the Indianapolis Star Salute to Nursing Award in 2010 and 2013. In 2018, she received a Community Health Network Daisy Award for excellence in nursing.
Raquel has two daughters. Outside of work she enjoys cooking, family time and travel.
