Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health Celebrates Expansion in Tipton

For release on June 12, 2023

Tipton, IN—Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health celebrated today the opening of its renovated and expanded Tipton outpatient clinic.

The Community Fairbanks clinic at 202 S. West Street in Tipton underwent an expansion in recent months that now allows for additional space for behavioral health programming in addition to expanding access to lifesaving opioid overdose treatments. The renovated building is now also home to a NaloxBox, a public dispenser for naloxone.

“The expanded clinic represents a significant investment in the overall health and wellbeing of the Tipton community,” said Allison Bordeaux, Executive Director of Operations and Chief Operating Officer of Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health. “The additional space in the clinic will allow us to increase the number of clinicians serving the community and also add additional service offerings, such as multiple group therapy services and additional services for drug treatment for teens.”

The Tipton clinic is now home to individual and family therapy services; group therapy services for substance use treatment and mental health needs; case management services; psychiatric medication services as well as Medication Assisted Therapy.
