Community Fairbanks residential programs include inpatient residential and long-term residential at the Community Fairbanks Recovery Lodge.
Inpatient Residential
This program is a structured inpatient environment that combines the efforts of a multidisciplinary team to meet the individualized needs of the patients. Medical observation continues during this phase of treatment, but the primary focus is on the emotional, behavioral and cognitive needs of the patient. Residential allows patients to focus on developing recovery tools, coping skills and life skills that are necessary to a life in recovery. Residential services are offered on separate units for men and women.
Recovery Lodge: Long-Term Residential
The Community Fairbanks Recovery Lodge program is designed for men working to overcome substance use disorders and who have complex recovery issues that require extended treatment. Long-term residential treatment takes place at Community Fairbanks Recovery Lodge (formerly La Verna Lodge), which provides peaceful, serene, simple and private settings for individuals and helps them focus on life in recovery from addiction, as well as regaining a sense of self-sufficiency.
Recovery Lodge residents learn to build a foundation for recovery. This residential setting assists in healing from core interpersonal issues that can endanger sobriety and personal growth. Treatment includes teaching life skills, providing recovery tools and instilling values that are necessary for a life in recovery.
