At Community Bariatric Services – Hamilton in Indianapolis, we specialize in long-term patient weight loss management to help our patients take control of their obesity, change their lives, and regain their health. We offer medically supervised weight loss options including GLP-1 medications, oral weight loss medications and team support.

About

With two decades of expertise in obesity management and thirty-five years of surgical care, Dr. Keith McEwen is expanding his support for patients beyond bariatric surgery by introducing a fully supported medical weight loss program. With our skilled clinical staff - including nurse practitioners, nurse, and registered dietitian - our goal is to provide collaborative care and education to help you meet your health and wellness goals.

Our program offers weight loss medications including GLP-1 agonists, such as Wegovy® (Semaglutide) and Zepbound® (Tirzepatide), oral weight loss options (Lomaira®, Adipex®) and custom compounding solutions. Our office will offer behavior modifications and dietary education for your weight loss success. Our bariatric program will continue to support our Lap Band® patients with their monthly gastric band adjustments and weight loss journey.

Seminars and Classes

Dr. McEwen and his team are dedicated to educating patients about obesity treatment options. Introduction to Weight Loss classes are designed to give prospective patients the opportunity to learn more about current treatment options, such as the use of oral medications (Adipex® and Lomaira®) and weight loss injectables such as Wegovy® and Zepbound®. We offer in-person weight loss presentations, telephone consultations, and in-person weight loss visits.
