Community Chefs

We Are Cooking Up Something Special!

We are excitedly planning our Community Chefs event for September 20, 2025. Since its beginning in 2013, Community Chefs has been a night of delicious food, lighthearted competition, and most importantly, fundraising for valuable programs out in our community. Men from organizations throughout Madison County come together to don a “celebrity chef” hat for the evening, and attendees are presented with an evening of delicious food and entertainment.

Tickets Available Soon!

When tickets are on sale, they may be purchased by contacting Linda West at lwest@eCommunity.com or 765-298-5133.

Impact

Thanks to our chefs who have continued to raise tips, our sponsors who have pledged their ongoing support, personal donations, Community Hospital Anderson and the Community Hospital Anderson Foundation support, and our online auction, the impact Community Chefs makes is tremendous. If you are interested in becoming a celebrity chef, please contact Linda West at lwest@eCommunity.com.

Community Chefs has raised more than $1,000,000 for the Community Hospital Anderson Foundation over the past nine years. The event has benefited multiple causes. In 2024, the proceeds benefited the following causes:

School Nurses' Funds

Several years ago, the Community Hospital Anderson Foundation initiated a discretionary nurses' fund for each public school in Madison County. With these funds, nurses at each school are able to purchase items for the medical needs of the students whose families might not be able to afford it, such as new glasses, an inhaler or even something as simple as clean underwear and socks.

Oncology Patients

Community Hospital Anderson provides state-of-the-art cancer treatment to our patients here in Madison County. However, our commitment to our patients extends beyond their medical care. A cancer diagnosis can be devastating to a patient and family. The Community Hospital Anderson Foundation has established a fund that can be used to help care for some of these families' extra needs that may arise as a result of the cancer diagnosis. This can mean anything from purchasing a wig for a patient to paying the patient's utility bills when the patient has been unable to work.

Community in Motion

A series of events and programs designed to promote opportunities for physical activity across Madison County, the goal of Community in Motion is to improve the lifelong health of Madison County residents. Working with strategic partners, we are removing barriers to access tennis, golf, pickleball, frisbee golf, dodgeball, curling, laser tag, biking, running and walking clubs and more.
