Meet the program directors, faculty instructors and staff for the Community Hospital East Family Medicine Residency program.

Cynthia Meneghini, MD, Assistant directorCynthia Meneghini, MD
Program Director

Dr. Meneghini is originally from New Jersey. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, then attended residency at MacNeal Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Berwyn, Illinois. She also completed a year-long fellowship in women’s health at the same institution. Dr. Meneghini worked in Chicago caring for the underserved, serving as a physician at a local high school health center, and teaching resident physicians and medical students.

Dr. Meneghini has always been involved in teaching residents and medical students, both at academic centers and at FQHCs. She joined the faculty at the Community East Family Medicine Residency in 2016, becoming the director of the underserved track in 2017. She has stepped into the role of interim program director with much love and passion - this is an amazing place to learn, train and grow!

Dr. Meneghini loves patients of all ages, but has a special fondness for women and children. She has special training in the area of contraception, procedures, gynecology, newborn/childhood health and chronic illness. She received her DATA waiver in 2016, and help establish Community's Addiction Medicine Fellowship, where she also serves as faculty. She hopes to inspire the next generation of family physicians to treat any patient that walks through their door.

In her free time, she loves hanging out with her amazing family. She has three wonderful kids and a great husband, also a family physician. She loves music, being active and enjoying the outdoors. You can find her on the weekends outside, at Deer Creek, enjoying live music, especially the Dave Matthews Band.

Melody Jordahl-Iafrato, MD, facultyMelody Jordahl-Iafrato, MD, MPH

Dr. Jordahl-Iafrato graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She grew up in rural Arizona and then attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Following medical school, she completed residency at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Arizona, spending an additional year there while completing a faculty development fellowship and serving as junior faculty. She then moved to rural Arizona, working first on the Hopi Reservation and then in the mountain town of Show Low.

After deciding to return to her love of teaching, she spent almost six years working at the University of Arizona College of Medicine at South Campus Family Medicine Residency, serving as faculty and then program director before joining the Community East Family Medicine Residency faculty in 2018. She has been involved with organized medicine at both the state and national level, including serving as chair of the AAFP Commission on Continuing Professional Development. She recently earned an MPH with a concentration in health disparities through the University of Indianapolis.

As the education and curriculum director, Dr. Jordahl-Iafrato coordinates residents' rotations to ensure high-quality educational experiences that meet or exceed the ACGME standards for family medicine residencies. Community East has a history of having an innovative curricular structure and she is passionate about continuing that evolution.

She lives near Greenfield with her husband and their dog, Bean. In her spare time, she enjoys attending concerts, traveling, reading (or listening to the audiobook!), watching true crime documentaries, and exploring local restaurants and breweries.

Lindy Sergeant, MDLindy Sergeant, MD

Medical Director, Family Medicine Center

Dr. Sergeant grew up in rural Michigan and attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan for her undergraduate degree. She went to medical school at Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine, completing her clinical work in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She stayed in Grand Rapids for residency and moved to South Bend, Indiana to complete a primary care obstetrics fellowship at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Dr. Sergeant practiced full-spectrum family medicine with OB (including c-sections) for five years in rural Bremen, Indiana before joining the faculty in 2020.

Her passions in medicine include surgical and non-surgical obstetrics, preventive medicine and well-child care, office-based procedures, prevention of intimate partner violence and child abuse/neglect, global health, and guiding patients to better health through taking charge of their own healthcare. She gets excited about teaching residents about practice management, incorporating preventive medicine into every office visit, and obstetric and non-obstetric procedural care.

She is married to Troy, a registered nurse, and they have two young children. They also have an energetic Portuguese Water Dog, Boaz, who thinks he is the most important member of the family. In their free time, the Sergeants like to work on house and yard projects, go on hiking and camping trips, try new restaurants, visit friends and family, and travel abroad.

Andrew Brougher, MDAndrew Brougher, MD

Dr. Andrew Brougher grew up in Columbus, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine. He started residency at Resurrection Health in Memphis, Tennessee and completed training at Loma Linda University Family Medicine in Southern California.

He is passionate about serving the marginalized and oppressed through medicine, and appreciates working with an underserved population at the Jane Pauley Health Center. Dr. Brougher also likes to teach residents, provide obstetrical care, and incorporate lifestyle and preventive medicine into his practice.

Dr. Brougher lives on the east side near Community Hospital East, along with his wife and three young kids. He enjoys gardening, being active, spending time outside, and investing in his faith and spiritual growth.

Aria Arrizabalaga, MD, assistant directorAria Arrizabalaga, MD
Assistant Director

Dr. Arrizabalaga is originally from San Francisco. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and then studied medicine at Harvard. She did her residency at Contra Costa Regional Medical Center in Martinez, California. Prior to joining Community Health Network, Dr. Arrizabalaga gained experience in student health at Washington State University, urgent care in Idaho and a community health center in California. She founded the residency’s Global Health elective in Honduras and has a deep interest in health equity and cultural diversity. Clinically, she is passionate about teaching residents and patients, with a focus on chronic disease management including diabetes, asthma and mental health.

She spends as much time as possible outdoors, enjoying cycling, kayaking, hiking and occasional cross-country skiing whenever there is a plausible amount of snow.

Dan Fisher, MD, assistant directorDan Fisher, MD
Assistant Director

Dr. Fisher grew up in Lowell, Indiana. He majored in chemistry at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Fisher graduated from our program in 2013 and was a chief resident while in training. He has a strong interest in improving provider efficiency and communication skills. Dr. Fisher completed a faculty development fellowship at the University of North Carolina in 2014-2015.

In his free time, Dr. Fisher enjoys being with family, traveling and woodworking.

Amber Lehmann, east residency associate directorAmber Lehmann, DO
Assistant Director

Originally from the plains of west Texas, Dr. Lehmann’s education has taken her to many destinations including Wheaton College in Massachusetts where she double majored in biochemistry and German studies before returning to Texas for her DO/MPH at UNTHSC. The northwest made an impression and she returned to Massachusetts to complete her first years of training in internal medicine-pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center. When her spouse later matched into general surgery in North Carolina, Dr. Lehmann transferred and completed her medical training at ECU in Greenville, North Carolina. Since completing training, she has worked in various medical centers as either an adult or pediatric hospitalist until her spouse completed training in pediatric surgery at Riley Children's Hospital.

Her clinical interests include diagnostic reasoning, acute care of decompensating patients, and transitional care between inpatient stents and return to PCP care. She is deeply passionate about teaching and training the next generation of clinicians.

Now settled in Indianapolis, she enjoys biking/running/walking down the Monon trail, porch sitting with her basset hound and a book or podcast, and volunteering in her children’s IPS Montessori elementary school. When out of town, she enjoys visiting national parks, returning to her family’s remote lake house in central Texas, and fishing.

Matthew B. Main, MD, assistant directorMatthew B. Main, MD

Inspired by his grandfather’s medical practice in Northern Michigan, Dr. Main embarked on a journey to full-spectrum family medicine. After receiving his bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Spring Arbor University in 2003 and his medical doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2007, Dr. Main excelled at the Community East Family Medicine Residency. A graduate of the class of 2010, he received the Robert Palmer Award for academic excellence. Grounded in family medicine, Dr. Main then completed his fellowship in surgical family medicine obstetrics at Medicos Para La Familia in Memphis.

After this training, his family medicine practice in rural and underserved southern Indiana required a wide range of procedures: cesarean deliveries, diagnostic fetal ultrasound, newborn care, inpatient rounds, nursing home and home calls to the Amish community. Serving as the clinic’s medical director and chairing various hospital committees, Dr. Main worked hard to improve patient access to care, especially for expectant mothers and infants.

Now on faculty, Dr. Main brings a wealth of knowledge and commitment to medicine. He is dedicated to optimizing patients’ access to both acute and chronic care while respecting their diverse physical, mental and spiritual needs. In his teaching, Dr. Main aims to inspire the next generation of physicians to achieve their most comprehensive and compassionate medical career.

Outside the office, Dr. Main enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He is an avid cyclist and enjoys playing the violin and piano.

Sagi Mathew, MD, Assistant directorSagi Mathew, MD
Assistant Director
Obstetrics Track Director

Dr. Mathew completed his family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, followed by a fellowship in maternal-child health at PCC/West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. He then moved to Indiana as an assistant professor of clinical family medicine at the IU/Methodist Family Medicine Residency program, a position he held for six years. While there, in 2009, Dr. Mathew developed the Family Medicine Centered Maternity Care Fellowship at IU/Methodist. In 2010, he completed additional professional development through a Faculty Development Fellowship at UNC-Chapel Hill.

Dr. Mathew's additional interests include international health and mission trips, fishing and team sports.

Morgan Rhodes, MDMorgan Rhodes, MD
Assistant Director

Dr. Morgan Rhodes is originally from Toledo, Ohio. However, she is remarkably familiar with Indianapolis due to her family moving there before her senior year of high school. After graduating from Cathedral High School, she attended IUPUI before moving on to Indiana University School of Medicine. She spent her first two years of medical school in Fort Wayne before again returning to Indianapolis to finish her medical degree. She completed her residency training at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, IN and is extremely excited to be a part of the Community East Family Medicine Residency family!

Her medical interests lie in obstetrics, women’s health and pediatrics. She is deeply passionate about providing medical care to the underserved and finding ways to combat health disparities. She was an integral part in forming the Diversity and Inclusion Council at her residency and hopes to bring that spark for advocacy with her to Community. She plans to finish her master of public health degree in the coming year as well. Fluent in Spanish, she also loves global health and jumps at any chance to go abroad. Her enthusiasm for teaching developed in residency and she has a special calling to mentor students and residents from underrepresented minority backgrounds.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Rhodes spending time with her family. She enjoys cooking, baking, Broadway musicals, traveling and the Michigan Wolverines, and her adopted dog.

Christopher Skok, DO, CHE residency assistant program directorChristopher "C.J." Skok, DO, MPH
Assistant Director

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Skok grew up in Valparaiso, IN. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University-Bloomington and medical school at Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, he recently completed his residency in family medicine at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, in Columbus, OH. During his third year of residency at OSU, he served as the Academic Chief Resident of the program.

Given an interest in population health and health policy, he has also received his masters in public health degree through The Ohio State University, College of Public Health. As part of this program, he completed a project with the Ohio State University Extension system studying vaccination hesitancy in rural, Appalachian Ohio.

His clinical interests include inpatient medicine, pediatrics, complex adult pathology and office-based procedures/contraceptive care. He is also passionate about medical education, healthcare leadership and underserved care.

Outside of medicine, he enjoys camping/hiking, running, Orangetheory, live music, and spending time with his wife, Stacy.

Louis Winternheimer, MDLouis Winternheimer, MD
Assistant Director

Dr. Winternheimer has a wealth of experience in the realm of underserved and community medicine having served as a full-spectrum family physician at urban health centers and hospitals in Chicago (Lawndale Christian Health Center) and Indianapolis (Raphael Health Center). In 2005, he was awarded the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians "Distinguished Public Service Award." He has extensive experience working with students and residents over his career and brings additional outpatient precepting skills to our team.

He sees patients at the Jane Pauley Community Health Center along with other faculty and residents who are part of our underserved care track. He precepts residents at both outpatient offices.

Jacklyn Kiefer, DO, sports med facultyJacklyn Kiefer, DO
Sports Medicine Faculty

Dr. Kiefer is originally from Brazil, Indiana and attended the University of Notre Dame as an undergraduate. She completed medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her residency training in family medicine was completed at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in South Bend and was followed by a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. After completing fellowship, Dr. Kiefer stayed on in Toledo in a combined role at the ProMedica Toledo Hospital Family Medicine Residency - serving as the Osteopathic Program director - and at the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship where she was an associate director. She was a team physician for the University of Toledo (NCAA Division 1) for nine years.

Dr. Kiefer is primarily located at the Community South Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency, but she also oversees a sports medicine clinic at Community East Family Medicine Residency and mentors those residents. In addition, she provides sideline coverage for Indianapolis area high schools and professional teams. Professionally, she enjoys all things sports medicine - including regular use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostics and injections and osteopathic manipulative treatment.

Dr. Kiefer lives in downtown Indianapolis in the Bates-Hendricks neighborhood. She is excited to have moved closer to family - especially her baby niece. Her passions include international travel, SCUBA diving, fitness, reading fiction and Notre Dame athletics.

Judith Robinson, MD, OB facultyJudith Robinson, MD
OB Faculty

Dr. Robinson is originally from Chicago and attended the University of Illinois Medical School. She came to Indianapolis for her Ob/Gyn residency training at Methodist Hospital. This was followed by a very busy private practice she started on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Dr. Robinson was in private practice for 19 years, and then was employed by IU Health as an Ob/Gyn hospitalist at Methodist Hospital. During this time, she held various administrative positions including medical director for Methodist Labor and Delivery as well as section chairman for Ob/Gyn at Methodist. Dr. Robinson has always been involved in residency education (both Ob/Gyn and family medicine) and tremendously enjoys teaching. She has been with Community Health Network since November 2013 and absolutely loves it! She says that the ultimate focus on patient care is so reassuring and comforting.

Kasey Windnagel, PsyD, behavioral facultyKasey Windnagel, PsyD, HSPP
Behavioral Faculty

Dr. Windnagel serves as the behavioral health faculty within Community Group Family Medicine Center. Dr. Windnagel received her undergraduate degree in neuroscience from the University of Virginia before receiving both her master’s and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the University of Indianapolis. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Alaska Family Medicine Residency prior to completing her post-doctoral training at the St. Louis VA Health Care System where her work focused on primary care and mental health integration.

Dr. Windnagel's clinical interests include integrated behavioral health, motivational interviewing, chronic pain, sleep disorders, and providing culturally humble care and supervision. Dr. Windnagel is particularly passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ population and other marginalized groups. Dr. Windnagel believes that mental health clinicians have an ethical obligation to use their privilege and platform to advocate for social justice and human rights.

Dr. Windnagel's personal passions include traveling (experiencing new cultures and world perspectives), reading (always willing to accept book recommendations), hiking (or if you’re in Indiana, perhaps “trail walking” is a more accurate term), walking her dog (Gus) at local parks, and sampling local restaurants and breweries.

Brad Hinton, pharmacy facultyBrad Hinton, PharmD, BCACP, BCPS
Pharmacy Faculty

Dr. Brad Hinton received his doctorate of pharmacy degree from Purdue University. Dr. Hinton completed his PGY-1 residency at Indiana University Health Arnett in Lafayette, IN and his PGY-2 pharmacotherapy residency at Community Health Network/Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. He is the clinical pharmacy specialist within the Community East Family Medicine Residency clinic. He has a collaborative drug practice agreement at the residency clinic, which allows him to assist the medical residents and faculty in managing their patients with chronic disease states. He also provides education to the medical residents, pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. His current interest areas include patient education, transitions of care and cardiovascular risk reduction.

In his free time, Brad enjoys cooking, keeping up with the MCU, and spending time with his wife, Alexis, and dog, Sheila.

Pharmacy Faculty

Dr. Redshaw is originally from Ada, Ohio and earned her doctor of pharmacy degree from Ohio Northern University. She completed pharmacy residency training in a physician group practice in Lima, Ohio. She has worked for Community Health Network since 2001, primarily in inpatient services and then returned to her passion of outpatient care in 2013. She enjoys working closely with office providers, medical residents, pharmacy residents and students. She has a collaborative practice agreement with physicians that allows her to manage chronic disease states. Her special interest is in helping patients with social and economic barriers meet their healthcare goals.

In her spare time, Dr. Redshaw enjoys exercising, spending time with family and cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Jeana Craft, CHE residency coordinatorJeana Craft
Residency Coordinator

Jeana was born and raised in Shelbyville, Indiana and attended Indiana State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in health promotions. She began working with Community Health Network in 2007, holding various positions, before joining the residency in 2012. Prior to becoming the residency coordinator, she held positions as administrative secretary and patient access specialist.

Jeana still resides in Shelbyville with her husband and two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, outdoor activities, and beach vacations.
