Community Virtual Care

Community makes it easy to get the care you need — wherever you are. We offer two types of virtual (online) care designed for different needs: On-Demand Virtual Care and Virtual Primary Care. Both services are available to new and existing patients and you don’t have to have an account to get started.

Get Started With Virtual Care

On-Demand Virtual Care

On-Demand Virtual Care can help you when you’re sick or dealing with a minor issue and need care now — no appointment needed. Our board-certified providers are available daily from 7 am to 11 pm.

Choose this option if you:

  • Need care now
  • Have a minor illness or injury

On-Demand Virtual Care visits may be covered by your health insurance provider (such as Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, United, etc.). If you are unsure, please check with your plan provider for coverage details prior to your virtual visit.

Don't have insurance? On-Demand Virtual Care visits start at just $49 for self-pay.

On-Demand Virtual Care: What We Treat

We understand that people can get sick any time, so Community is here for you when illness hits unexpectedly and you need to get care from the comfort of home. Grown-ups and kids can see our board-certified providers any time for common respiratory, GI, ear, nose, throat, eye and skin concerns. We're open for virtual visits for the following medical conditions:

Virtual Primary Care

Community Virtual Primary Care is a convenient way to receive primary care online. Our team of board-certified providers partner closely with your primary care provider to help provide you with chronic disease management, follow-ups and new concerns.

Choose this option if you need:

  • Help managing a long-term condition
  • Follow-up care
  • Care for a new concern

Virtual Primary Care visits may be covered by your health insurance provider (such as Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross, United, etc.). If you are unsure, please check with your plan provider for coverage details prior to your virtual visit.

Virtual Primary Care: What We Treat

Our team of board-certified providers can support you with:

  • Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (excluding "Welcome to Medicare" visits which must be done in person).
  • Chronic condition care and follow up for diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, COPD, anxiety, depression and more.
  • Follow-up appointments for ADHD (must be an established Community Health Network patient).
  • Same-day sick visits and treatment for colds, flu, viral illnesses, urinary tract infections (UTIs), respiratory issues like asthma or bronchitis, and more.
  • Medication refill appointments (except for narcotics and benzodiazepines).
  • Ordering laboratory tests for routine health maintenance and acute illnesses, such as urine cultures and COVID tests.
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Acute care such as allergic reactions, rashes, poison ivy, or mild gastrointestinal and gynecological issues.
  • Digital triage to help you find the right level of care for your needs.
  • Referrals to specialty care if needed.

What can’t be treated through Virtual Primary Care?

For your safety, some conditions require in-person care.

  • We cannot refill or prescribe narcotics or benzodiazepines.
  • We cannot treat children under 12 years old with ear pain.
  • We cannot treat children under 3 years old with fevers.
