Most of the project is complete with construction expected to wrap up in late 2026. Drivers will see continued improvements in 2026 as new lanes and ramps open and work continues on the reconfigured I-69/I-465 interchange.
Patients, visitors and caregivers visiting the Community Hospital North campus* should plan ahead for traffic delays in this area. Allow extra time to get to appointments to avoid having to reschedule. Please call your provider's office if you have questions or concerns.
Ramp and Lane Updates
August 31: The ramp from westbound 56th Street to northbound I-465 is expected to reopen Tuesday morning, September 1. Once the ramp opens, I-465 will be in its final configuration with at least four lanes open in each direction from the White River to Fall Creek.
August 24: New ramp to 82nd Street is open, providing direct access to 82nd Street for drivers traveling east on I-465 and north on Binford Boulevard. New traffic pattern map.
- The 82nd Street exit is temporarily closed to drivers who enter northbound I-69 from northbound I-465. This is expected to reopen in late 2026.
