Clear Path 465 Construction Updates

Most of the project is complete with construction expected to wrap up in late 2026. Drivers will see continued improvements in 2026 as new lanes and ramps open and work continues on the reconfigured I-69/I-465 interchange.

Patients, visitors and caregivers visiting the Community Hospital North campus* should plan ahead for traffic delays in this area. Allow extra time to get to appointments to avoid having to reschedule. Please call your provider's office if you have questions or concerns.

Ramp and Lane Updates

Now Open

  • Additional fifth lane now open on northbound I-69 north of 82nd Street.
  • Access to westbound I-465 and southbound Binford Boulevard from the 82nd Street ramp. 
  • The ramp from westbound 56th Street to northbound I-465 is now open.
  • New ramp to 82nd Street is open, providing direct access to 82nd Street for drivers traveling east on I-465 and north on Binford Boulevard. New traffic pattern map.
    • 82nd Street exit is temporarily closed to drivers who enter northbound I-69 from northbound I-465. This is expected to reopen in late 2026.

  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69
  • Northbound Binford Blvd to westbound I-465

*The Community Hospital North "campus" includes the following sites of care: Community Fairbanks Recovery Center, Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, Community Hospital North, Community Imaging Center North, Community MD Anderson Cancer Center - North, Community Rehabilitation Hospital, Community Surgery Center, Emergency Room/ER, Community-GoHealth Urgent Care Castleton, 7250 Professional Building, and other affiliated provider offices and services on campus and accessible from adjacent roadways, including Shadeland Avenue.
