Dr. Patrick McGill has served as network president and chief executive officer since January 2026. Previously, he served as executive vice president and chief transformation officer at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he lead strategic initiatives that generated over $50 million in cost savings and revenue enhancements.
A board-certified family medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience, Dr. McGill combines his medical expertise with business acumen, holding an MBA with a concentration in data analytics from the University of Southern Indiana and recently completed a doctorate in healthcare administration at the University of Central Michigan.
Named among Becker's Hospital Review's "Inspiring Chief Transformation Officers in Healthcare" for three consecutive years, he has transformed Community Health Network into a technology and data-driven organization. Past roles included serving as chief analytics officer and senior vice president of clinical strategies, where he established the Office of Network Analytics and led the transition to value-based care models.
He currently chairs the Indiana Health Information Exchange Board of Directors and serves on multiple boards including SIHO Insurance Services, Indianapolis Chamber, Indiana Hospital Association and the Community Health Network Foundation. As principal investigator for the Grail REACH Trial investigating multi-cancer early detection technology, and through his leadership in health equity initiatives, Dr. McGill continues to demonstrate his commitment to innovative healthcare solutions that improve clinical outcomes, operational efficiency and patient experience.
