Marina Hadjioannou Waters is the CEO and founder of Blank Space Solutions, a women owned consulting firm assisting businesses of all sizes with internal and external communications and specializing in multilingual/multicultural inclusive communications and executive communications. This work builds on over 20 years of experience leading a communications business and her prior career as an international human rights attorney.
Marina was president and owner of LUNA Language Services. At the time of its acquisition in 2024, LUNA was one of the largest language interpreting companies in the nation. Marina led the growth of the business through acquisition and management of government and private healthcare, court and education contracts. Based on this expertise, Marina participated in countless private, government, public health and economic development task forces, and advisory boards related to servicing a diversifying demographic. Waters was recognized by the mayor of Indianapolis for leading one of the most diverse workforces in the city, by the University of Arizona Colleges of Law and Public Health as 2021 Alumni of the Year for her national leadership related to language access during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was named as one of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s ‘Women of Influence’ in 2017.
Marina is currently the president of Exodus Refugee and Immigration in Indianapolis, is the past chair of the Community Health Network Foundation Board, and serves as chair of the Quality and Care Committee for Community Health Network. She serves as a mentor to women entrepreneurs and strives to continue her leadership promoting inclusive services for marginalized communities.
